Exquisitely carved and crafted French rococo style bed in walnut and burlwood. Made in Grand Rapids, most likely by Kindel circa 1910, retailed by Lammerts, the premier furniture company of the era in Saint Louis.Kindel makes each masterpiece especially for order in its Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. It is more of a work studio than a factory. Kindel does not do mass production and does not make a product until its original customer orders it. Kindel artisans are committed to let every chair, desk, table, bed, chest, sofa, and side piece emerge with integrity and handcraftsmanship. And be its own unique piece. In 1901, Charles J.
