Early 20th Century Antique Prairie Style Tall 56" Throne Chair With Southwestern Tapestry Upholstery

This is an extraordinary chair, with unusual design perhaps best fitting with Prairie style. It was acquired from the estate of a world traveler, now deceased and no longer able to tell the provenance. The wood frame with its unusual angles is oak, recently refinished. The upholstery is very recent, in a tapestry with tribal designs of the sort seen both among Native Americans and in the Middle East. Extremely sturdy and comfortable.
